junker

broken down
left for dead
covered in rust
and shattered glass
all that is left
is what i know
because those who did
have now forgot
no more music
or happy laughter
my days of adventure
have long been out numbered
now i sit
sore to the eye
watching the world
pass me by

  2. Old Blue was my baby... you know, the 1983 Ford Escort stick shift that first gear was out of so you hoped you didn't start on a hill because you weren't guaranteed brakes either...

  3. "The Buick" that was her name... '93 Buick LeSabre... my first car (was 18).. she was a tank on the outside and a living room on the inside... lol practically lived out of her for 3 years... best car to sleep in..Was proud to retire her with over 300,000miles on her and just as many memories...

  4. Your poem is very sad, and could be about a person rather than a car? Thank you for sharing it on my blog, Cole Ann.
